About Me

My Firm is dedicated to representing individual employees in employment disputes with their employers. I am a trial lawyer who has represented clients in a variety of employment law cases. I represent employees who are fighting to obtain unemployment benefits. I handle discrimination cases based on age, race, sex, and disability. I handle sexual harassment claims, retaliation/whistle blower claims, wrongful termination cases, wage and hour disputes (including class actions), and over time claims. Most cases are on a contingency fee basis and my initial consultation is free.

I received my BA summa cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University in 1973 and my JD from Duke University in 1976. I am admitted to practice in all the courts of Ohio, before the United States Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Ohio, the Southern District of Ohio, the Western District of North Carolina, and the United States Court of Military Appeals.

I am a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

I fought in Vietnam with 101st Airborne Division and was later a Captain in the Judge Advocate General Corps in Germany where I tried hundreds of courts martial. After 7 years of active duty service and 20 years in the U.S Army Reserves I retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. I am married and the father of 5 wonderful sons - none of whom care a "hoot" about employment law.
