Jack Moran devotes the majority of his practice to representing employees in litigation in Northeast Ohio and beyond. Jack’s clients include former employees being sued for claimed breaches of non-competition or non-solicitation agreements, as well as current or former employees seeking to enforce their civil rights through anti-discrimination or anti-retaliation laws. Jack has an expert understanding of the federal and state laws shielding employees from retaliation, protecting them for whistleblowing, and prohibiting employers from discriminating on the basis of age, race, gender, sex, pregnancy, disability, and religious discrimination. Jack is an aggressive and successful litigator in the courtroom, achieving success for his clients throughout Ohio federal, county, and municipal trial and appellate courts, as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Jack has also achieved some of his greatest results outside the courtroom, by negotiating for lucrative severance agreements and settlements on behalf of employees. Based on his successful representation of clients, Jack was recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star,” a distinction given to only 2.5% of Ohio attorneys. Jack is a Cleveland native and graduate of Gilmour Academy.
